Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. We've had this ingrained in our brains since our first day of kindergarten, but it's still the most overlooked meal of the day. Why? Well, to start, five days a week we're usually running out the door with wet hair and two kids in tow, too hurried to think about sitting down and eating. The other two days we gather for brunch, but after everyone submits their dietary needs, the idea of making a low-fat, vegan, and/or gluten-free breakfast that is quick and actually tastes good seems impossible. One look at the impatient table of friends and family and we quickly move on to lunch.
